Bologna, The hill in the city

This itinerary will take you from the city center up to the Bolognese hills, where you can touch ancient noble villas and areas of incredible environmental value. From up there, the perspective on the city will seem different to you. Starting from the famous Giardini Margherita, the green heart of the city, we will go uphill on Viale dell'Osservanza until we reach Villa Aldini. Then passing behind the Observance convent we will reach the Villa Ghigi Park, a real area of biodiversity in the city. Pushing ourselves even further we will find the Hermitage of Ronzano with their friars, who, if we are lucky, will give us a nice tour of the structures. Ah, don't forget to ask about the cellars, they distil an excellent grappa!
