Discover the ancient walls of the church overlooking the village!
After a brief initial presentation by our Environmental Hiking guide, we will walk towards the house of Santo Stefano del Lupo, the patron saint of Carovilli.
After the visit, we will resume the journey heading towards the village of Castiglione, now a hamlet of Carovilli, to visit the Church of San Nicola di Bari.
Then we will move to the hill to admire the enchanting church, called 'Ammond Church' by the locals.
Along the way it will be possible to observe the characteristic vegetation of this phytoclimatic belt and, with a little luck, we could find traces left by the native fauna of this area included among the Unesco Heritage areas for biodiversity.
