Mountain Bike Tour on Nebrodi

The Nebrodi Tour is the excursion dedicated to the exploration by mountain bike of the wonderful paths of the Nebrodi Park, the largest protected area in Sicily.

We'll start from Randazzo, a delightful medieval village set between the Alcantara river and Mount Etna, towards Floresta through the trail that leads to the Santa Maria del Bosco Refuge, one of the most beautiful equipped areas of the Nebrodi Park. Next step will be going up the Alcantara River to Floresta. Here a short stop for sack lunch and to savor the famous products of meats and cheeses, typical and genuine expression of this territory and these mountains.

We'll the resume the tour and head tp the famous Dorsale dei Nebrodi, an exciting path that runs from east to west across the entire mountain range, through the dense forests of the Park and spectacular views. Wild nature here is incredible, thanks to animals, canyons and the splendid views of Mount Etna, dominating the coastilne.

We'll then return to the Masseria Zarbata, only to follow the Torrente Flascio and arrive in Randazzo, where we'll have a tour of some wonderful medieval churches. Before concluding this fantastic excursion, a glass of Etna wine will be the right reward for today's efforts!
